As a grassroots youth network, NCYN is one of the few organizations in the world where you can decide exactly where your money will go and see tangible results from your specific contributions. You can also be positive that 100% of your contribution is benefitting youth on the grassroots level.

Because we are not currently affiliated with a US-based nonprofit organization, we regret that our donations are not tax-deductible for donors in the U.S (we are looking for a partner organization - if interested, please contact us). Donations of supplies and materials are equally useful to us at this stage. Our operations in Namibia would greatly appreciate new or used (working) technology such as laptop computers, headsets, cell phones, and digital cameras. We would also appreciate things like office supplies, art supplies and the like. If you are willing to cover the shipping costs, we would put your donations to very good use. In particular, the materials would allow youth on the ground to effectively communicate with each other accross the country and to actively collaborate with donors, mentors, and partners around the world.

If you want to make an in-kind contribution of supplies or materials, please contact us.
Please mail a bank or cashier's check for $25 made out to Namibia Connection Youth Network to our address, above. Include the word "baseket" on your check. This price includes tax and shipping. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. We source these baskets from artisans (almost all women) living in rural villages in northern Namibia who have no other income. 30% of proceeds from your purchase go to the artisan, which is more than they normally sell their baskets for locally in Namibia. 50% benefits youth leaders mobilizing on the ground in Namibia. Approximately 20% goes toward international shipping and customs.
