Namibia Connection Youth Network creates an umbrella platform for Namibian
youth and gives them access to information, support, guidance, training,
and resources in order to build their capacity to take on positive leadership
roles in their communities. By connecting youth to each other and to professionals
both in Namibia and abroad, NCYN serves to represent, train, coordinate,
and build a popular youth movement for sustainable development, entrepreneurship,
and effective youth empowerment in Namibia. Through NCYN, Namibian youth
will develop, plan, and implement their short-term and long-term visions.
- To stimulate the creativity of youth to develop innovative and tangible
solutions to the challenges of building an HIV-AIDS free, economically
empowered, computer literate, and highly educated generation of youth.
- To provide a channel and a mouthpiece with which youth will become
proactive in realizing their talents and in implementing their goals
and initiatives, by taking on professional roles, methods, and responsibilities
that will develop their skills and experience.
- To collaborate with professionals and peers around the world in order
to build bridges to systematically remove the obstacles hindering Namibian
youth from becoming empowered, self-reliant, and innovative leaders of
tomorrow.
- To stand as a network that will promote economic development and cultivate
a culture of diligence and leadership among Namibian youth in collaboration
with other continental youth organizations.
